SkyDragon
The SkyDragon technology is an unmanned high altitude platform (HAP) for telecommunication and data transfer. It is endowed with highly sophisticated electronic and controlling systems allowing autonomous flying up to an altitude of 20 km in the stratosphere. The SkyDargon is a segmented airship able to use various propulsion systems and the segments of which are filled with helium. It can be used to provide within short an intense data transfer above a predetermined area, as in cases of floods after the existing infrastructure on the ground has temporarily been destroyed.
Also we should be aware that the need in fast data transfer in general (wireless, TV broad band) will increase rapidly on a global scale. SkyDragon is also able to supplement existing capacities in infrastructures above areas of high population density as large city areas etc.
